A Marketing Manager in the solar, inverter, battery, and UPS sector is a crucial role responsible for crafting and executing a marketing strategy that not only generates leads and drives sales but also educates the market on the value and benefits of these specific energy solutions.
This position requires a blend of technical understanding and creative marketing skills.
Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts for our range of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and UPS systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and support our sales team in achieving their targets.
This role requires an individual who is both an innovative marketer and has a solid grasp of the technical and commercial aspects of the renewable energy and power backup industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Planning:
Develop and execute an annual marketing plan tailored to our target markets (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial).
Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and our unique selling propositions.
Define and manage the marketing budget, ensuring a high return on investment (ROI) for all campaigns.
Align marketing strategies with sales goals to ensure a seamless lead-to-customer conversion process.
Digital and Content Marketing:
Lead all digital marketing initiatives, including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social media campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
Create and manage a content calendar, overseeing the production of compelling and educational content such as blog posts, case studies, white papers, product data sheets, and video tutorials.
Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage with existing customers.
Manage and optimize the company website and landing pages to improve user experience and lead capture.
Brand Management and Communications:
Build and maintain a strong, consistent brand identity for all products (solar panels, inverters, batteries, UPS) across all communication channels.
Oversee public relations, press releases, and media relations to enhance brand reputation and visibility.
Organize and manage company participation in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events.
Product Marketing:
Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to understand technical specifications and translate them into clear, customer-centric marketing messages.
Develop launch plans and marketing materials for new products.
Create compelling sales enablement tools, including presentations, brochures, and sales scripts, to empower the sales team.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM data) to track and analyze the performance of all marketing campaigns.
Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and optimize future campaigns.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or in a senior marketing role, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
Demonstrable knowledge of solar energy systems, inverters, batteries, and UPS technology is essential.
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO tools, and social media advertising.
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
Strong leadership, project management, and team collaboration skills.
