Job Description & Summary

Those in corporate finance at PwC will provide strategic financial advice and solutions to help clients navigate complex business transactions and optimise their capital structure. You will analyse financial data, conduct due diligence, and assist in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
As a Manager in our Deals team, you will play a strategic role in helping organizations navigate the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital market transactions.
You’ll be responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing transformative deals that accelerate growth and deliver long-term value.
Drawing on robust financial insights and data analytics, you’ll collaborate with clients to uncover opportunities, assess risks, and optimize value throughout the transaction lifecycle. From deal origination to successful execution, you’ll lead multidisciplinary engagements that drive impactful outcomes and shape the strategic direction of client businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute financial due diligence and valuation assignments related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and investment projects.
Provide valuation advice on complex corporate structures, assets, and transactions, including buy-side and sell-side engagements.
Develop and validate robust financial models for valuation, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making.
Serve as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness, and delivery of high-quality insights.
Support deal negotiation and pricing strategies by delivering actionable insights and valuation benchmarks.
Uphold regulatory, ethical, and professional standards in all deliverables and engagement practices.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including tax, legal, advisory, and industry experts to deliver integrated solutions.
Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members, fostering growth and supporting team capability development.
Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing, pitch presentations, and market research.
Monitor market developments, valuation standards, and emerging industry trends to enhance service offerings and client value.Provide support, as required by the team in delivering on engagements/mandates to PwC’s quality
Coach others and encourage them to take ownership of their development.
Analyze complex client briefs and proposals to build a range of meaningful recommendations.
Develop a perspective on key global trends, including globalization, and how they impact the firm and our clients.
Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
Minimum Qualification and Years Experience required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline, with a minimum of 2.1 (Second class upper)
Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage
Minimum of 7-9 years of relevant experience, ideally in Transaction Services, Valuations, M&A Advisory, Corporate Finance
Additional Application Instructions:
Experience in transaction advisory services, corporate finance, valuation and financial modeling, M&A advisory, Infrastructure or project finance, investment banking
Relevant certifications such as ACA or ACCA or CFA. is required
Proficiency in building and reviewing complex financial models in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and relevant accounting frameworks impacting M&A transactions and valuation
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements, KPIs, and deal structures
Competence in financial modeling tools and data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx
Familiarity with M&A processes, including buy-side and sell-side transaction dynamics
