College Provost at Federal College of Forestry Ibadan, Oyo

Federal Ministry of Environment, Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan has been mandated to recruit for the below position. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of a College Provost in the Federal College of Forestry Ibadan, Oyo State.

Job Title: College Provost

Job Responsibilities

• The Provosts are the Chief Executives and Academic Heads of their Colleges.
• They are responsible to the Executive Director of the Institute for the day to day administration of their Colleges.

Requirements

• Prospective candidates must be holders of Ph.D in any of the following disciplines: Forestry Resources management, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension and Management, Horticulture, Crop Production or related disciplines with a minimum of 10 years teaching experience in a College of Forestry, Agriculture or related disciplines.
• Applicants must not be below the rank of Senior Lecturers on CONRAISS 13 and they must be registered members of professional bodies relevant to their disciplines.
• Prospective candidates must demonstrate ability to offer Academic/Administrative leadership, and be able to show evidence of community service. Also they must show evidence of at least four (4) additional publications in reputable journals and three (3) other Conference/Seminar papers since last promotion.

Term of Appointment
A single term of 5 years only (Non renewable)
