We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Channel Manager

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
You will:

  • Develop a strategy for expansion of the distribution channel in Nigeria that is in line with the organisation’s goals and strategy.
  • Recruit Distributors and Resellers in the Solar/renewable energy space to partner with Arnergy.
  • Maintains active relationships with Arnergy’s Distributors, Resellers and Partners to grow the Distribution channel.
  • Develop and successfully execute sales strategies to exceed the sales and profitability targets across the Distribution channel.
  • Work closely with Distributors and partners to plan sell-out strategies, provide quality service, organise training and provide necessary support for attainment of the channel’s objectives. Anticipates obstacles and identifies alternative strategies.
  • Increase the business revenue through business expansion and foster profitability by building strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the Distribution channel.
  • Applies technical expertise, excellent market and business management skills necessary for dealing with specific, high-level target audiences.
  • Use Arnergy’s internal tools to deliver highly accurate forecasts that identify revenue and timing of all projects, resulting in a qualified pipeline of prospects and detailed input.
  • Redefine, create, manage and track specific business plans/actions through regular meetings and reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform Partner’s management in a compliant way by ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual agreements, and ethical business standards in all partner engagements.
  • Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to commercial operations – including win/loss analysis

Requirements & Skills

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Distributor/ Channel Sales experience within market
  • segments & industry – Renewable Energy, FMCG, Power management, ICT, PayTV, Telco, Electrical, White Goods/Electronics, IoT, Construction, Retail, Channel (Sales & Services). Technical experience is not a must.
  • Ability to understand the customer’s needs, in order to promote the appropriate Arnergy’s offer that best meets the customer requirements
  • Ability to build an environment and relationship of trust and credibility with customers, understanding customer’s needs and positioning their needs in the value chain and competitive environment (market and competitors), in order to best promote Arnergy in the local market.
  • Strong Business analytics, commercial skills and proven sales track record.
  • Ability to evaluate and target potential customers (penetration, attractiveness,
  • accessibility), in order to best allocate resources, verify opportunities and build customer action/ business plan.
  • Good knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in finding business partners, supporting onboarding and managing new partners.
