Product Sales Engineer (Filtration) at Beamco Nigeria Limited

Our Board of Directors consists of Nigerian professionals with vast experience in a wide range of businesses, engineering fields and sectors. They lead a team of highly motivated, well trained, mostly Nigerian workforce, of over 300 in the various branches and divisions.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Product Sales Engineer (Filtration)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Tasks 

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote filtration products, targeting both existing and prospective clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide suitable product recommendations
• Conduct visits, surveys and presentations to identify technical and commercial support through recommendations, bids, demonstration and collaboration with service center, OEMs and internal teams to ensure effective solutions and clients satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including service center, operations, and sales support service, to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of products.
• Identify and qualify new sales leads and actively pursue opportunities for new installations and projects. Propose process optimizations and engineering solutions
• Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting, technical assistance, and product training, to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize customer retention.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies related to filtration and turbomachinery, and incorporate this knowledge into sales strategies and customer interactions.
• Participate in conferences, and networking events to promote company products and establish a strong presence in the filtration and turbomachinery market.
• Requires 60% travel time to customers and client sites (Onshore and Offshore)

Job Specification
Educational background:  

• Education Background; B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering
• Years Of Experience; – Minimum of 3 years of experience
• IT Knowledge;- Microsoft 365, Internet skills.

Competencies:  

• Strong technical expertise in industrial systems with knowledge of international standards and the ability to deliver presentations, diagnostics and lifecycle solutions
• Skilled in business development through key account management, market analysis, sales forecasting and preparation of technical/commercial bids related to filtration equipment and services 
• Effective communicator with strong problem solving abilities adept at stakeholder engagement, cross functional collaboration and driving client-focused filtration solutions.
