Summary

• We are seeking a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused individual to join our retail team as a Customer Service Representative.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience in our store.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
• Provide product information, answer questions, and assist customers in locating items.
• Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately at the checkout counter.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly or escalate to the store manager when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment.
• Restock shelves and ensure product displays are neat and attractive.
• Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and upsell products where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support the store manager in daily operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of SSCE / OND / equivalent qualification; higher education is a plus.
• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and patience in handling complaints.
• Basic math and computer skills for processing transactions.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Working Conditions:

• Role is based in a retail store environment.
• Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• May require standing for extended periods and some lifting of merchandise.

Salary
N80,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
