As we scale our operations, we are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounting functions with integrity, accuracy, and strategic insight.

Job Description

• The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance.
• The ideal candidate must be grounded in financial accounting, proficient in management account preparation, and skilled in the use of modern accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare detailed management accounts, variance analysis, and profitability reports for leadership.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all financial transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and tax computations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and reporting obligations (e.g., FIRS, LIRS, CAC).
• Manage internal controls and streamline financial processes for operational efficiency.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, and government agencies.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to support business growth and investment decisions.
• Implement and optimize the use of accounting software for real-time financial management.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or MSc is an added advantage).
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 7 years’ post-NYSC experience in finance/accounting, preferably in real estate, construction, or facility management sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and Nigerian tax regulations.
• Proven expertise in management account preparation and cash flow forecasting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
