• We are seeking an experienced and diligent Recruitment Officer for Security Guards to join our dynamic security and investigations team on a freelance basis.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the security industry, particularly in the recruitment of qualified personnel to fulfill various roles across our operations.
• This role will be pivotal in ensuring that we attract and retain skilled security professionals who meet the high standards required in our field.
• The Recruitment Officer will employ innovative sourcing strategies, conduct thorough evaluations, and implement effective selection processes to ensure that candidates not only possess the required credentials but also align with our organizational values and culture.
• With a keen focus on compliance and industry standards, the Recruitment Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for providing reliable and competent security staff.
• The successful candidate will work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job postings, and participate in job fairs and other recruitment events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified security guards.
• Screen and evaluate resumes, conducting preliminary interviews to assess candidates' suitability.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, providing support in the selection process.
• Conduct background checks and verify candidate credentials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain an organized database of candidates and recruitment activities for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
• Engage in outreach activities, including job fairs, to promote job openings and build a network of potential candidates.
• Provide updates and feedback to management regarding recruitment progress and challenges.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / Bachelor`s Degree 
• 0 - 2 years proven experience as a recruitment officer , preferably within the security industry.
• In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes and strategies tailored to hiring security personnel.
• Strong understanding of employment law and regulations pertaining to security staff recruitment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
• A proactive approach to sourcing candidates and a passion for finding the right talent.
