Job Title: Front Desk Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job brief

  • We are currently looking for a Front Desk Officer who will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff.
  • He/ She will be responsible for managing reception duties, handling administrative support tasks, and ensuring smooth communication within the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly.
  • Manage correspondence (emails, letters, packages, and deliveries).
  • Maintain the reception area in a tidy and presentable condition.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and interviews.
  • Assist in clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Provide accurate information to clients and visitors regarding company services.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Support HR/admin with documentation and employee onboarding when required.

Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field.
  • 1–3 years proven experience as a front desk officer, receptionist, or administrative officer.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional appearance and customer service orientation.
