Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage, analyze, and oversee financial transactions, reporting, and compliance.
• The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proven experience in handling the financial health of a business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business decisions.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, banking operations, and investment activities.
• Prepare payroll and ensure statutory deductions are remitted accurately.
• Support management with financial insights, cost analysis, and profitability reports.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of proven accounting experience in a corporate or financial environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or Tally) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
