Job Title: Design & Insights Analyst

Position Summary
The position will support Management in crafting compelling narratives and visual assets that align with VEMA Group's vision.
This role drives content creation for internal projects and client engagements, such as financial pitch decks, ERP training & documentation, NGO program materials, and other visually-appealing content.
By blending creative design, data-driven insights, and stakeholder collaboration, the position enhances brand visibility, client satisfaction, and cross-functional efficiency in a remote environment.
The role will provide creative and analytical support on all projects and activities through content development, research, and stakeholder engagement, while assisting Management with operational content needs for presales, onboarding, and retainment.
Responsibilities & Duties
Content Development & Design (40%):
Creative Design:
Use tools such as Canva and Figma to develop high-quality designs and documents for VEMA and its clients, including fliers, brochures, logos, web mockups, app layouts, wireframes, and other forms of drawings.
Export and aesthetically integrate numbers, charts, and graphs from spreadsheets or other sources into corporate documents, presentations, and reports for enhanced visual impact.
Design website and app layouts and wireframes using Figma or similar tools, ensuring responsive and user-friendly prototypes aligned with client workflows and user journeys.
Technical Content Development:
Develop long-form and short-form content on business, finance, technology, web3 and other relevant topics suitable for platforms like LinkedIn and Medium, tailored to client contexts.
Create promotional materials such as pitch decks, fundraising documents, and policy visuals for clients, incorporating elements like tables, charts, graphs etc while collaborating with other teammates on structure, narrative, and data presentation.
Create demo decks, onboarding guides, and training visuals to support VEMA’s engagements, ensuring materials are clear for non-technical users and aligned with delivery promises.
Create support documentation and training artefacts for lightweight ERP/accounting rollouts (e.g. QuickBooks) ensuring clarity and adoption.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine designs based on feedback, ensuring all outputs meet branding guidelines and accessibility standards.
Any other design and content development responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Data Analysis & Reporting (40%):
Research & Documentation:
Conduct technical research on business, finance, technology, and web3 topics to inform content strategies, such as software implementation roadmaps or financial advisory.
Develop project proposals, associated documentation, and operational policies for VEMA and its clients.
Perform general data analysis using relevant tools to generate insights, such as usage metrics or engagement trends.
Produce case studies and success stories from live engagements (e.g. onboarding outcomes, fundraising & implementation milestones) to support sales and customer success.
Utilize relevant AI tools to refine content for various stakeholders.
Have strong version control and repository hygiene (structured folders, naming, approvals) to support repeatable delivery and auditability.
Compliance & Performance:
Ensure all content meets intellectual property and copyright requirements, conducting audits to verify ownership documentation and flagging risks.
Monitor content performance across various platforms and prepare periodic reports for management, highlighting relevant KPIs.
Provide detailed reporting on content effectiveness, including recommendations for optimization based on client feedback and data trends.
Any data analysis and reporting tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Stakeholder & Social Media Management (20%):
Engagement & Collaboration:
Use tools like Hubspot, Buffer and Slack to boost engagement with internal and external stakeholders by scheduling posts and analyzing interactions.
Organize webinars and liaise with stakeholders to ensure periodic sessions run smoothly, including requirements gathering for relevant topics.
Utilize tools like OBS studio to plan/run live sessions, recordings, and post-event nurture.
Conduct requirements analysis of client needs through interviews, surveys, and discovery workshops, translating insights into actionable plans to ensure content and design outputs address real client needs.
Any stakeholder and social media management tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Data Analytics, Business or a related field.
Professional Certification (e.g., Google Analytics, Hubspot Content Marketing, Adobe Certified Expert, or Prompt Engineering certification) are added advantages.
At least 3 years of experience in content strategy, graphic design, or digital marketing roles, preferably within tech, finance, or startup environments.
Personal computer and smart phone.
Personal resources to be online most of the time.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Demonstrable ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging content for non-technical audiences.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a freelance capacity.
Proven versatility in using tools requiring various skills such as Project Management and Data Analytics.
Ability to handle sensitive client data/information with discretion, especially in financial and proprietary contexts.
