Job Title: Secondary School Global Perspectives Teacher (Cambridge Curriculum)

Role summary
We are looking for an innovative and research-driven Global Perspectives Teacher to join our Secondary School faculty.
The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in the Cambridge curriculum and be skilled in guiding students to develop critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.
As a research fellow and educator, you will inspire learners to examine global issues, evaluate perspectives, and develop reasoned arguments in preparation for the IGCSE and Check PointGlobal Perspectives examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Global Perspectives in line with Cambridge curriculum requirements at IGCSE
Develop engaging lessons that foster inquiry, critical analysis, and reflective thinking.
Guide students through research projects, independent investigations, and collaborative assignments.
Mentor students in preparing for Global Perspectives presentations, essays, and assessments.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages debate, dialogue, and respect for diverse viewpoints.
Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student performance in accordance with Cambridge standards.
Contribute to curriculum development, research culture, and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
Participate in school events, professional development, and global education initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Political Science, Philosophy, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience, with exposure to the Cambridge curriculum.
Strong background in academic research, inquiry-based learning, and interdisciplinary teaching.
Demonstrated ability to prepare students for IGCSE/ Check PointGlobal Perspectives assessments.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with a passion for global education.
