Scope of Services
Each engagement will be governed by a Statement of Work specifying the scope, deliverables/outputs, milestones and timelines, level of effort, location, reporting lines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Educational Requirements
Preferred: A relevant Postgraduate Degree (Master’s Degree / Ph.D) in the selected thematic area, plus six (6) years of cognate experience.
Minimum: A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in the selected thematic area, plus nine (9) years of cognate experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
Experience: Preferably six (6) years’ verifiable consulting experience in the selected thematic area, with a strong portfolio of assignments in the selected state; current residence in the selected state of operation preferred.
Field Expertise: Demonstrated ability to work with government MDAs, UN/INGO/CSO partners, and community-based actors, applying conflict sensitivity and Do-No-Harm principles.
Technical Competence: Relevant professional certifications in the selected thematic area are considered an asset. Demonstrated proficiency in applying appropriate tools, standards, and methodologies relevant to the thematic area is required.
Communication Skills: Strong facilitation, reporting, and technical writing skills, aligned with donor requirements and international best practices.
Ethics & Safeguarding: Commitment to high professional conduct; compliance with PSEA, child protection, anti-fraud/anti-corruption.
Deployment Availability: Readiness to deploy on short notice for assignments within or beyond the selected state.
Languages: Excellent in English language; Hausa, Kanuri and/or Tiv an asset.
