DLAB Medicare Services Limited is a new medicare company engaged in the business of operating a medical/pathological testing laboratory, scan centers and healthclubs and deals in all types of laboratory and medical equipments and medical consumables and supplies.

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description
Assist in the collection, labelling, sorting, storage and preparation of specimens for testing.
Assist the medical laboratory scientist in performing routine tests and analyzing samples, and recording accurate test results data in patient’s medical record.
Operate, clean and sterilize laboratory equipment as applicable and contribute to maintaining a clean and well-organized laboratory environment.
Maintain and ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and co-workers.
Assist in managing laboratory inventory and supplies.
Ensuring compliance with all laboratory health and safety rules, regulations, infection control methods, and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure the safe handling of biohazard materials throughout the laboratory.
Participate in all Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) inspections of the laboratory as directed by the medical laboratory scientist and the laboratory manager.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties assigned by the medical laboratory scientist and the laboratory manager.
Qualification / Requirements
Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma/Certificate
Minimum of 1 – 2 years’ work experience in a medical diagnostic laboratory setting.
Valid/Current medical laboratory technician license/registration with the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria.
Computer literacy
Proficiency in laboratory techniques and the use of laboratory equipment.
Must be of good moral character, friendly with good communication skills and who can guarantee and ensure excellent communication with patients, customers and staff.
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Condition:
Laboratory work hours may vary, and will typically run for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which allows for reasonable day offs and flexibility in work scheduling.
Work environment involves exposure to biohazards materials and will require extensive safety precautions and may include the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to handle average weight objects and some standing and walking.
Salary
N70,000.00 per month. This will be increased to N80,000.00 per month after the successful probationary period of 6 Months.

Our laboratory will pay your annual practitioner licensing fee
