Job Title: Hostess

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Objectives

• This position is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements.
• The Hostess plays a key role in enhancing the customer experience by providing professional and courteous service while coordinating front-of-house operations efficiently.

Responsibilities
Key Tasks:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests to optimize seating and minimize wait times.
• Maintain an organized and efficient seating chart to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Communicate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to manage table availability.
• Provide menus to guests and inform them of any daily specials or promotions.
• Assist in answering customer inquiries regarding menu items, wait times, or restaurant services.
• Handle guest complaints and escalate unresolved issues to the manager when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the entrance and waiting areas.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and gather feedback to improve service.
• Assist with promotional events and special dining experiences.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with the service team to accommodate special requests or seating preferences.
• Support takeout and delivery order coordination if needed

Salary
