Description

  • A reputable financial services organization is seeking to hire a Sales Associate.
  • You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our investment products by expanding our client base and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and engage potential clients to drive subscriptions to investment products.
  • Conduct market research to identify and target specific industries and client segments for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies for investment offerings.
  • Present and demonstrate investment solutions to clients, emphasizing their benefits and value propositions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful implementation of new client relationships.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall growth of theinvestment portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc / HND in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in banking, sales, or business development, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience selling investment products and onboarding business clients across sectors such as Telecommunications, Real Estate, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, FMCG, Transportation, Agriculture, Technology, Hospitality, Pharmaceuticals, and other active business sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with clients.
  • A results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, industry regulations, and emerging trends is an advantage.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
