The Personal Assistant to the Managing Director will provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the MD, managing schedules, communications, and key business operations to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
Manage the MD's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
Screen and prioritize phone calls, emails, and correspondence on behalf of the MD
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
Organize and maintain confidential files, documents, and records
Handle personal errands and administrative tasks as required.
Communication Management:
Act as the primary point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders
Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
Coordinate communication with board members, investors, and key partners
Manage incoming requests and inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
Project Coordination:
Track and monitor key projects and initiatives on behalf of the MD
Coordinate with department heads to ensure timely completion of tasks
Prepare briefing materials and background information for meetings
Assist in the preparation of board presentations and strategic documents.
Event Management:
Organize corporate events, meetings, and conferences
Coordinate logistics for company functions and executive engagements
Liaise with vendors, caterers, and service providers.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant to senior management
Experience in the food, FMCG, or agri-business sector is an advantage.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
