We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Regional Technical Officer

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Delta and Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor, contractor, team and contract supervision/management.
• Day-to-day supervision of contractor/teams carrying out O&M work on sites; ensuring SLAs, and KPIs, due dates and specifications are strictly adhered to set objectives.
• Conduct spot check inspections, job completion assessments, end-to-end maintenance schedule supervision and assurance.
• Asset inspection, database tracking and validation.
• Completion of physical on-site inspections of ALL sites in assigned cluster within given timelines.
• Community liaison as applicable.
• Take Ownership of all planned work activities on assigned sites
• Reporting/Documentation.
• Recommend new processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery.
• Develop proactive methodologies for conducting fault diagnostics and resolution
• Creativity in mitigation of outages and resolution when they occur
• Site Availability (including cascades) of assigned coverage area
• Mean time to repair failures
• Reducing Trend of failure counts and repetitive failures.
• Improving Maintenance standards as seen on state of infrastructure under assigned coverage area.
• Managing changing customer relationships and expectations
• Expected high performance in a short period of time

Key Performance Measures

• Monthly/weekly meeting preparations
• Performance analysis
• Vendor management
• Diesel management per site allocations
• Site meeting SLA per site priority above SLA
• Diesel management per site allocations per client
• Site automation numbers to be sustained and improve per repairable assets and new system deployment
• Ensure site on RMS and RMS availability of 99% or above
• Operational and HSE Process compliance as per clients scoring system

Experience & Qualifications

• An engineering/technical degree in relevant field
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in similar role
• Significant experience in supporting the delivery of projects and services

Competencies:

• Have relevant IT skills in MS Office applications (advanced excel)
• Knowledge of managed service operation models
• Understanding Client’s performance levels and SLAs
• Understanding site health and HSE
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and management-focused environment
• Reporting skills
• Should be able to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and correctness.

N4,000,000 / Annum.
