Description
We are seeking a Quality Adviser to provide independent assurance, guidance, and oversight on quality management across all projects and operations.
The role will ensure that the company, its contractors, and vendors operate in compliance with contractual requirements, internal procedures, and international quality standards.
As a subject matter expert, the Quality Adviser will advise management and project teams on quality risks, compliance, and continuous improvement, while promoting a culture of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, oversee and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO9001:2015 to ensure alignment with corporate, projects and client objectives.
Act as the focal point for quality assurance across projects, providing independent oversight and professional advice.
Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with the company’s QMS and ISO 9001:2015 requirements
Provide quality assurance support during tendering, contract review, engineering, procurement, and all other operations.
Review and approve contractor and vendor quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
Conduct audits and surveillance of contractors, vendors, and internal processes to verify compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
Review and validate Material Test Certificates (MTCs), Calibration Certificates, Traceability Records, FAT/SAT reports, and Manufacturing Records.
Advise management and project teams on risks, performance trends, and mitigation measures.
Advise management and project teams on opportunities, performance trends, and realization measures.
Monitor contractor and supplier performance, identifying systemic issues and ensuring timely resolution of Non-Conformities (NCRs).
Facilitate lessons learned, continuous improvement programs, and knowledge sharing on best practices.
Provide training, coaching, and awareness sessions to strengthen the implementation of the Quality Management System and drive a culture of excellence in delivery.
Interface with clients, regulators, certifying bodies, and third parties on all quality-related matters.
Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting risks, compliance status, and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications / Experience
A minimum of a Second Class (Upper Division) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a related field.
Master’s Degree is an advantage.
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
ISO 9001:2015 Implementation certification.
8 - 10 years of experience out of which 5 years would have been in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Competence in developing and reviewing Quality Plans, ITPs, and Method Statements.
Skilled in identifying, documenting, and managing non-conformities (NCRs).
Ability to RCAs and implement CAPAs.
Competence in supplier and contractor surveillance and performance monitoring.
Competence in Business Process Management, from Process Need Recognition, Development, Implementation, Monitoring and Improvement.
Ability to prepare and maintain Quality Dossiers, MRBs, and as-built records.
