Job Title: Senior Interior Architectural Supervisor

Position Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Architectural Supervisor to lead the interior architectural aspects of our projects.
• This role will involve overseeing the design implementation, quality control, and coordination of interior finishes and furnishings across multiple developments.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interior architecture, excellent management skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design implementation and execution of interior architecture projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project goals.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and design teams to develop and refine interior design concepts and plans.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate progress, quality, and conformance to design specifications and standards.
• Manage the selection and procurement of interior materials, finishing, and furniture, ensuring compliance with project budgets and timelines.
• Develop project schedules and coordinate with other disciplines and teams to ensure timely completion of all interior phases.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members regarding project updates and any potential issues.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work complies with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior interior architectural staff, fostering professional development within the team.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Measurable KPIs

• Percentage of projects completed on time and within budget.
• Client satisfaction ratings based on feedback and reviews post-occupancy.
• Number of design changes after approval (tracking adherence to original design).
• Quality control pass rate during site inspections.
• Feedback from team members regarding supervision and mentorship effectiveness.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Professional certification from recognized bodies (e.g., NCIDQ, RICS) is preferred.

Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of interior architecture principles and practices, including design, materials, and construction processes.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering creative and functional design solutions.

Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in interior architecture or design, preferably with an emphasis on residential and commercial projects.
• Proven track record of overseeing multiple interior architectural projects from conception through execution.
• Experience in managing and guiding a team of designers and architects.
• Portfolio demonstrating design capabilities, leadership experience, and successful project outcomes is required for review.
