Communal Conservation Friendly Health and Social Development Support Initiative (COCOSOHDI) is a registered, indigenous, non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 2016. Headquartered in Damaturu, Yobe State, with an active field office in Maiduguri, Borno State, COCOSOHDI operates at the intersection of humanitarian relief and long-term sustainable development.
The organization was established to create awareness and support communities’ response to the urgent humanitarian and development needs of conflict-affected populations in Northeast Nigeria. With a mission to restore dignity, build resilience, and support sustainable recovery for underserved populations, COCOSOHDI promotes equitable access to essential social services through broad-based, integrated interventions in healthcare, education, livelihoods, protection, environmental sustainability, and peacebuilding.
Recent Key Achievements & Donor Engagement from 2016 - Date:
Education Crisis Response project from 2015 to 2017.
COCOSOHDI implemented DFID-funded Northeast Nigeria Transition to Development Project (NENTAD) Education in Emergency (EiE) component 2018-19. TO establish and manage 43 NFLCs in year 1 in Maiduguri Metropolitan Council and Jere LGSs of Borno state
Establish and manage 65 NFLCs spread across the year 1 & 2 under AENN project FHI 360. In 2019 – 2021.
IRC project implemented EAC
The Educate a Child (EAC) project was implemented by cocosohdi with support/target 20,000 out-of-school children between the ages of 9-14 years in LGAs of Postiskum and Damaturu in Yobe State by IRC in 2021-2022.

Instructions for Submission
Vendors must be registered businesses with evidence of CAC registration, tax clearance, and experience in supplying similar goods to NGOs or donor-funded projects.
Quotations should clearly indicate unit costs, total cost, delivery timeline, and payment terms.
All items must be branded with COCOSOHDI and donor logos.
Delivery location: Along Pompomari By-pass, Adjacent Noble Pearl’s Primary and Seconday School, Maiduguri, Borno State.
Include the estimated delivery time after issuance of Purchase Order (PO).
