Job Description

• The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving growth across our core focus areas — construction, manufacturing, and trading.
• The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong industry knowledge, exceptional networking skills, and a proven track record in developing client relationships, securing projects, and managing high-value partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in construction, architectural products, and project management.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s client base, including corporate organizations, real estate developers, and government institutions.
• Lead business development and sales efforts, preparing proposals, bids, and marketing materials to win new contracts.
• Source, negotiate, and close construction and supply deals while ensuring profitability and compliance with client requirements.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, and strategic partners.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and inform strategy.
• Collaborate with the project management, design, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking platforms to enhance brand visibility.
• Support the company’s regional expansion strategy by developing new leads and partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, sales/marketing certifications) will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or client management within construction, real estate, architectural products, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success in winning contracts, developing new markets, and managing key accounts.
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian construction and real estate landscape.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with CRM or business development tools.
