Our client is seeking dynamic and experienced candidates to teach Junior and Senior Secondary students
In this full-time role, you will inspire young “digital natives" by blending theory with practical activities – coding, data projects, and robotics – to make ICT engaging and relevant.
Nigeria’s new curriculum even makes digital literacy and coding compulsory, so we want a teacher who thrives on innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching Excellence: Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons (both theory and practical) for JSS and SSS classes.
Set high expectations, challenge students, and make complex ideas understandable.
21st-Century Skills: Incorporate 21st-century ICT skills – data handling, web development, database management – into projects and laboratories.
Utilise modern digital tools and coding platforms to enhance learning.
Robotics & Innovation: Lead practical robotics and coding activities.
Keep up to date with digital education trends (e.g. AI, robotics, and smart devices) and integrate them into your teaching.
Exam Preparation: Assist students in preparing for IGCSE/WAEC ICT/Computer Studies exams through focused revision, practice tests, and practical exam drills.
Support each learner in achieving their best results.
Curriculum Development: Work with colleagues to improve the ICT curriculum and exchange best practices.
Incorporate ICT integration across subjects where possible.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, ICT Education or a related field (B.Sc., B.Ed., etc.); PGDE/PGCE or TRCN registration is advantageous.
Teaching Experience: Experienced professional (30+) with at least 3 – 5 years of successful ICT teaching in secondary schools, preferably including experience with British-style or international curricula.
Demonstrates ability to teach both theoretical and practical ICT confidently.
21st-Century Toolkit: Proven experience in integrating modern skills into lessons.
You should be confident with data analysis, web design, programming, and databases, as well as using online/digital tools and interactive media.
Robotics & Tech Savvy: Skilled in using educational robotics kits and platforms (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms, Arduino, Micro: bit, etc.) with a strong enthusiasm for AI and robotics.
Staying current with emerging edtech trends is essential.
Exam-Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IGCSE and WAEC ICT/Computer Science syllabi. Experience supporting students in navigating these exam formats and achieving success in both theory and practical papers.
Personal qualities: Energetic, creative, and student-focused.
Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Skilled at motivating learners of diverse ages and backgrounds while fostering a collaborative and positive classroom environment.
