Job Summary

• We are seeking a Site Engineer who will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar and CCTV/security systems.
• This is a hands-on, field-based role that combines electrical installation work with on-site supervision, technical troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission solar PV systems, inverters, charge controllers, batteries, and associated electrical components.
• Install and maintain CCTV/security systems, including IP and analog cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and cabling.
• Perform system diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on both solar and CCTV systems.
• Supervise and coordinate technicians and assistants during installations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation schematics.
• Ensure compliance with safety, electrical codes, and installation best practices.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare daily site reports, material usage logs, and client handover documentation.
• Provide after-installation support and respond to maintenance service calls.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ direct experience installing and maintaining solar systems.
• In-depth knowledge of PV system design, inverter programming, battery management, and networked CCTV setups.
• Hands-on ability to work with tools, ladders, wiring, and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage on-site teams.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors on active project sites.
• Certification from relevant and recognized solar or technical training programs is an added advantage.
• A BSc or HND in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline is also a Plus.

• Technical proficiency in solar power and security systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, electrical standards, and HSE compliance.
• Good communication, teamwork, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field logistics.
