Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources practices and processes.
• This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and culture building.
• The ideal candidate will ensure HR strategies support the company’s goals and foster a healthy, high-performance work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top wellness and administrative talent.
• Coordinate interviews, background checks, and reference checks.
• Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

• Foster a positive work environment aligned with company culture and wellness values.
• Address employee concerns and mediate workplace conflicts when necessary.
• Organize team-building activities and wellness-related employee engagement programs.

Training & Development:

• Identify employee training needs and implement professional development plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

Performance Management:

• Oversee performance appraisal processes and ensure timely feedback.
• Assist department heads in setting KPIs and goals for team members.

Policy Development & Compliance:

• Ensure HR policies are compliant with local labor laws and best practices.
• Maintain and update employee handbook and policy documentation.

HR Administration:

• Maintain accurate employee records (contracts, leave, benefits, etc.).
• Manage payroll inputs, timekeeping, and benefits administration in collaboration with finance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in a similar HR role.
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced wellness-focused environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
