Job Summary

• Our client seeks an enthusiastic and results-oriented Showroom Sales Officer to be a core brand ambassador within their Lekki showroom.
• This role is focused on promoting and selling the company's extensive range of furniture and accessories, ensuring targets are met, and delivering exceptional visual merchandising standards.
• The successful candidate will be critical in driving sales through product expertise, custom orders, and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the showroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively promote and drive sales to meet or exceed daily, monthly, and quarterly targets.
• Serve as a brand ambassador, utilizing showroom stock, catalogues, and samples to advise customers on furniture items, fabric options, and custom order alternatives.
• Be responsible for the overall visual appearance of the showroom, ensuring furniture and displays adhere to merchandising standards and seasonal floor plans.
• Maintain and update the accessories inventory database and ensure all display accessories (e.g., bedding) are maintained and presented flawlessly.
• Liaise with sales and procurement managers in live time to confirm stock availability and ensure all orders are fully paid and accurately processed prior to delivery, minimizing errors and delays.
• Pass on all retail leads that exceed the scope of showroom sales to the relevant sales team to ensure all potential sales are realised.
• Ensure the showroom, storeroom, and ancillary areas are consistently clean, tidy, and organized. Guarantee that all stock is correctly labelled (including dimensions and fabric details) and that sales materials (catalogues, swatches, samples) are always available.
• Ensure consistent sales presence is maintained within the showroom during all operating hours.

Qualifications & Skills

• A minimum of a BSc / HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of proven sales experience, with a strong preference for experience within the furniture or interior design industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail, a knack for visual presentation, and the ability to work collaboratively to execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
