What You’ll Build & Deliver
Core API & Modular Services:

• Own and evolve the backbone: NestJS + TypeScript APIs across users, links, domains, and analytics.
• Push the boundaries of async programming and REST for real-world scale.

Database & Performance Layer:

• Design schemas that make MongoDB and Redis hum in harmony.
• Architect caching strategies that make speed non-negotiable.

Security & Trust:

• Safeguard the system with JWT authentication, rate limiting, and input sanitization.
• Lead abuse detection measures that protect users and the brand at scale.

Analytics & Event Tracking:

• Engineer queue-based event logging (BullMQ) to capture user behavior without slowing performance.
• Translate raw data into reliable insights that shape product direction.

Custom Domains & Edge Delivery:

• Drive domain mapping, DNS verification, and SSL/TLS issuance.
• Partner with Cloudflare Workers to make global edge delivery seamless.

Billing & Subscriptions:

• Integrate Stripe/Paystack to support free and pro tiers.
• Ensure renewals and payment flows are bulletproof via webhooks.

Infrastructure & DevOps:

• Deploy with Docker, automate with CI/CD pipelines, and monitor with Grafana & Prometheus.
• Build resilience into every deployment—because downtime is not an option.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years building backend APIs in NestJS + TypeScript.
• 3–4 years designing schemas with MongoDB and Redis.
• 2-3 years implementing security-first systems (auth, sanitization, abuse prevention).
• Strong DevOps instincts: Docker, CI/CD, observability.
• Bonus: experience with billing systems (Stripe/Paystack).
