Job Description
FemyWalsh Media is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Motion / Video Editor to join our dynamic production team.
The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong understanding of editing workflows, color grading, and motion design.
You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into visually engaging content that aligns with our brand and client objectives across digital, broadcast, and social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for a variety of media channels.
Create and integrate motion graphics, animations, titles, and transitions using Adobe After Effects and related tools.
Perform color correction and grading using DaVinci Resolve to enhance visual appeal.
Work closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and storytelling quality.
Manage sound design, voiceovers, and background music integration.
Organize and maintain project files, media assets, and version control.
Stay current with video trends, editing techniques, and emerging software tools.
Meet production deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and creative standards.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Equivalent experience in professional video editing or media production will also be considered.
Experience:
2–4 years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, or post-production.
Experience working in a creative agency, production studio, or digital media company is an advantage.
Proven portfolio demonstrating a range of editing and motion design work.
Other Requirements:
Strong creative judgment and the ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
Familiarity with current media trends, platforms, and formats (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to adapt to evolving creative directions and production needs.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and visual composition.
Understanding of storytelling principles and branding through video.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for visual storytelling.
