Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented General Manager to provide strategic leadership and drive the next phase of our company's growth.
This is a pivotal leadership role requiring a unique blend of financial acumen, technological understanding, and deep real estate expertise.
The successful candidate will be responsible for steering the company towards achieving aggressive targets for revenue growth, market share expansion, and operational excellence, all within a stringent regulatory framework.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Corporate Strategy: Formulate, implement, and oversee the company’s long-term strategic plan, focusing on market leadership, sustainable revenue growth, and profitability in the digital investment and REIT sectors.
Drive Revenue Growth and Market Share: Own the company's P&L. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to expand market share, diversify revenue streams, and significantly increase Assets Under Management (AUM).
Lead Capital Raising and Investor Relations: Spearhead all capital-raising initiatives, building strong relationships with institutional investors, private equity, and high-net-worth individuals. Act as the primary face of the company to the investment community.
Ensure Regulatory Excellence and Compliance: Serve as the ultimate guardian of the company's compliance posture. Ensure all operations, products, and digital platforms fully comply with statutory and regulatory requirements from bodies like the SEC and other financial authorities.
Champion Technology and Innovation: Drive the integration of technology across all business functions. Lead the strategy for our digital investment platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, user-friendly, and provides a competitive edge.
Oversee Business Development and Customer Acquisition: Direct the business development strategy to acquire new B2B and B2C clients. Develop and refine the company's value proposition to penetrate new markets and customer segments effectively.
Lead and Mentor High-Performing Teams: Provide inspirational leadership to departments including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and Operations. Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Manage Strategic Partnerships and Alliances: Cultivate and manage high-level strategic partnerships with key players in real estate development, banking, stock brokerage, and financial technology to enhance product offerings and distribution channels.
Optimize Operational Efficiency: Oversee all operational aspects of the company, implementing robust processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure seamless service delivery.
Report to the Board: Provide regular, comprehensive reporting to the Board of Directors on company performance, strategic initiatives, risk management, and market developments.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Professional Certification: Professional certifications such as CFA, CISI, CA, or other recognized qualifications in finance, investment, or securities.
Core Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, with a demonstrable track record in:
REITs and real estate finance.
Customer Acquisition and Business Development.
Statutory & Regulatory Compliance for digital investments and securities.
Revenue Growth and Market Share Expansion.
Industry Provenance: Must have extensive, verifiable experience across multiple sectors: Real Estate, Banking & Financial Services, Investment & Capital Raising, and the Stock Brokerage industry.
Technology-Driven Mindset: Proven experience in leveraging technology to drive business growth, improve customer experience, and optimize operations within a financial services context.
Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Exceptional strategic planning, financial analysis, and negotiation skills. A proven ability to translate vision into an executable business plan that delivers measurable results.
Leadership Prowess: A distinguished leader with a proven ability to inspire, manage, and develop large, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
