Job Title: Facility Supervisor Manager

Location: Sagamu, Ogun

Receives Reports from: Hygiene Cleaners, Environment Cleaners

Description

• The Facility Supervisor is responsible for conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain high standards of quality and hygienic work environment.
• To coordinate both human and material resources to ensure the company achieves a high standard of a hygienic work environment and contribute to safe and quality product manufacturing.
• This role requires attention to details, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
Facility Management:

• Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and quality issues.
• Document and report defects and deficiencies in structures or equipment.
• Create detailed reports of inspection findings, including recommendations for corrective action.
• Work with maintenance, operations, and other teams to address inspection findings and implement corrective actions.
• Verify compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local laws.
• Make and maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, corrective actions, repairs, and other facility-related documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Liaise with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
• Advise and make recommendation to the management a cost efficient and effective corrective actions of facility faults or inefficiency.

Production Floor:

• Coordinate the housekeeping team and organise an effective cleaning routine.
• Provide technical supports on best hygiene practice in the facility.
• Supervise the production, warehouse, floor cleaner daily activities to ensure the elimination of microbes breeding on the production floor.
• Closely monitor and ensure that all kinds of production waste are properly sorted from the source.
• Ensure production tools, equipment (bucket, containers etc) are washed and properly maintained.
• Coordinate and allocate cleaning resources to cleaners.
• Lead and train the hygiene team to perform their duties effectively and safely.
• Conduct regular audit to identify, document and implement corrective actions or new initiatives to create a hygienic environment.
• Liaise with the safety manager to ensure the facility compliance to food safety, food hygiene, GHP, HACCP, safety standards at all time.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, and resources usage.
• Train, appraise and monitor hygiene workers performance.

Environment (Outside Production):

• Supervise and ensure regular cleaning of the environment, e.g drainage, Green Areas, Vehicle way, Bags
• Ensure the drainages are free of waste and ensure free flow of erosion
• Monitor the waste bin and ensure regular disposal at designated waste site/storage
• Supervises and ensure hygiene workers keep the cloak room in a healthy and hygienic environment for users.

Qualification

• Primary qualification: OND / HND / B.Sc in any relevant field (e.g., Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration).
• Secondary qualification: HSE, Trade-Test
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience
• Preferred age range: Above 28 Years
• Skills: Attention to details, strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, Risk Assessment.

Salary
N200,000 - N350,000 / month
