The Federal Medical Centre, Gusau was established by the Federal Government in 1998 and took off in 1999. It is situated in Gusau Zamfara State. The Mandates of Federal Medical Centre, Gusau are in line with that of the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH), which are focused towards providing efficient and affordable Health Care Services to the people of Nigeria. The Federal Medical Centre, Gusau also has mission to be a Centre of Excellence in the provision of Tertiary Health Care services that are acceptable and affordable to the community around and beyond its location.

• Evidence of fellowship examination of National Postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent
• Current practicing license
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
