Job Title: Operations Manager

Position
The candidate specializes in art or appreciates it. Ability to develop new accounts and increasing the business of existing accounts.
Identifies prospects’ advertising, marketing, and business issues and matches these with the Society’s capabilities and ideas.
Develops strategies and tactics for pursuing selected prospects, organizes and participates in art presentations and events.
The objective isto increase the appreciation of art for its stakeholders i.e., collectors, artistes, insurance companies etc. through visibility and brand recognition to strengthen and expand the Society’s client base.
The position holder must observe the confidentiality of client and Society matters.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will have primary responsibility and authority to lead and administer these important functions of the Firm:
Master’s Degree in Business (Specialization in Marketing)
Second Class Upper Degree in a first degree
Five years in a Business Development/ (Creative) Marketing Manager role within a professional services environment (Art/ Creative experience preferred)
Additional professional certification in Management/ (Digital) Marketing/ Graphics Design is an added advantage
Skills:
Oversee daily operations of the organization and the work of executives (Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.)
Ensure participation in the organization’s expansion projects/ activities, i.e., investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, and ensuring successful executions.
Facilitate decision-making processes, program development, and strategic plans to sustain the company
Represent the Society in external functions: partnership meetings, conferences, and the media
Ensure quality monitoring process and evaluation of the Society’s projects.
Ensure effective management and implementation of the Society’s budget
Drive sponsorship and partnership for the Society.
Maintain current client relationships and identify areas for potential clients through contact to establish a business relationship and meet with them.
Research the latest in the business industry, explore new development areas, and create new opportunities to expand the organization.
Setting goals and developing plans for the organization and revenue growth
Researching, planning, and implementing new target market/ sponsorship initiatives
Setting comprehensive goals for the performance and growth of the team and developing strategies to meet those goals
Training business development staff
Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
Marketing management and strategic planning experience
Successful development and administration of a marketing program
Ability to write effectively for public relations level content for internal and external audiences and to prepare written materials to support and follow-up marketing opportunities for the Firm.

Perform in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and establish market trends
Organize strategy sessions to identify customer pain points and prospect sales opportunities
Innovative with concepts to promote the brand, plus services & products.
