Job Objective
As Key Account Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the customer experience and growth of assigned key vendors.
Your role is to drive assortment strategy, design targeted promotions, and manage key vendors in our marketplace through constant collaboration with Commercial Operations, Vendor Experience, and Marketing teams.
What you will be doing
Drive continuous business growth by owning pricing and promotions strategy, collaborating with marketing teams to enhance product content and visibility, and ensuring stock availability through cross-functional coordination
Manage complete sales performance of assigned categories and vendors, monitoring and implementing sales strategies to increase Net Margin Position (NMP) and Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV)
Drive customer acquisition through value offerings, sales campaign management, and strategic promotional initiatives
Create and present strategic insights and business recommendations to gain alignment on major initiatives across multiple organizational levels
Analyze and present post-promotion performance reports for retail and marketplace, quantifying impact on brand and category performance
Define and optimize curation and assortment selection strategy for your portfolio, ensuring relevance to maximize revenues and sales velocity
Support product and content creation processes to expand live assortment
Plan and maintain optimal stock availability across all product lines
Identify market trends and consumer insights to fill category gaps and capitalize on emerging opportunities
Build and execute weekly marketing plans, determining product and subcategory promotions across website and all marketing channels (newsletters, social media, etc.)
Develop robust analytics to evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and optimize marketing, pricing, and product selection strategies.
What we are looking for
4 - 5 years of experience in key account management, category management, or e-commerce/retail operations
Strong ability to prioritize and manage key accounts strategically
Proven experience in process improvement and operational excellence
Solid understanding of P&L management and cash-flow dynamics
Skilled in negotiation, value-based selling, and vendor relationship management
Demonstrated experience negotiating bulk discounts, MOQs, and credit terms with vendors
Track record of building strategic partnerships with OEMs and key suppliers
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute ideas independently in a fast-paced environment
Deep understanding of e-commerce dynamics and customer behavior.
