Job Summary
The Senior Estate Surveyor is responsible for overseeing all valuation, property management, and real estate advisory activities within the firm.
This role involves supervising junior surveyors, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality real estate services.
The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a valid professional certification in Estate Management or Valuation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate property valuation, appraisal, and feasibility studies for clients and corporate portfolios.
Manage leasing, sales, and acquisition processes for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
Supervise and mentor junior estate surveyors, ensuring adherence to company and professional standards.
Conduct property inspections, condition assessments, and prepare comprehensive valuation reports.
Provide expert advice on real estate investment, market trends, and asset performance.
Prepare and review tenancy agreements, rent reviews, and service charge budgets.
Maintain relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry laws, ethical practices, and the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) or equivalent body.
Oversee facility and property management operations to enhance asset value and client satisfaction.
Participate in business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, or related fields.
Master’s Degree in a related discipline (added advantage).
5–10 years relevant experience in estate surveying, property valuation, or management.
Professional Certification: Must be a Registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer (RSV) and a member of NIESV or an equivalent recognized body.
Proven track record of managing large-scale valuation and property management projects.
Strong knowledge of property laws, valuation methodologies, and market analysis.
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate management software.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
