Job Title: Group Executive Director, Operations

Description
The role ensures that the Group’s operations are efficient, profitable, and aligned with the Board’s strategic direction.
The GEDO drives operational excellence, organizational performance, and synergy across business units to achieve sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Support the Group Managing Director (GMD) in translating strategic goals into actionable operational plans across all subsidiaries.
Lead the execution of the Group’s short- and long-term business strategies.
Develop and implement policies, systems, and procedures that promote efficiency and accountability.
Foster collaboration among subsidiaries to ensure alignment with Group objectives and optimize resource utilization.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee daily operations of Mshel Homes, Mshel Construction, Mshel Facility Management, and other subsidiaries.
Establish performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outputs across all projects.
Drive operational process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and cost control measures.
Ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination between HR, Finance, Operations, Projects, and Commercial units.
Project & Quality Governance:
Supervise project execution through the Project Controllers and subsidiary operations leads.
Ensure all construction, facility management, and real estate projects meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
Implement strict compliance to quality control, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Performance & Risk Management:
Establish and monitor performance management systems for all subsidiaries.
Identify operational risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.
People & Leadership Development:
Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to subsidiary heads and senior managers.
Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and performance excellence.
Work with HR to ensure that leadership succession plans and talent pipelines are effectively implemented.
Financial & Business Growth:
Collaborate with the CFO to align financial performance with operational efficiency.
Support the GMD in driving revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimization across subsidiaries.
Evaluate new business opportunities, joint ventures, and expansion prospects.
Key Deliverables
Consistent achievement of operational and financial KPIs.
Improved efficiency, quality, and profitability across subsidiaries.
Standardized processes and policies implemented group-wide.
Strong alignment between strategy and daily operations.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
Minimum of 10 years progressive experience, with at least 5 years in senior management roles overseeing multi-company operations.
Proven track record of operational excellence, business transformation, and performance management.
Strong understanding of real estate, construction, and facility management operations.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Salary
N750,000 - N1,000,000 / Month.
