About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation to oversee the reliable operation and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems across our Refinery, Solvent Extraction, Utilities, and Packaging facilities.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve automation failures in PLCs, SCADA, sensors, transmitters, and control loops.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical and automation systems.
• Support PLC programming, interlock logic verification, and process optimization.
• Interpret and edit engineering drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ensure reliable operation of MCCs, PCCs, transformers, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
• Review and update electrical and PLC wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and SCADA architecture.
• Manage inventory and procurement of automation hardware and spare parts.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians on automation fault diagnosis and safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian statutory regulations and plant safety standards.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in electrical & instrumentation maintenance within refinery, solvent extraction, or FMCG process industries.
• Age: Maximum 35 years.
• Certifications: ICAN or relevant technical certifications (if applicable).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in automation systems.
• Knowledge of MCC, PCC, HT/LT panels, transformers, VFDs, and switchgear.
• Familiarity with gas power plants, DG sets, boiler control systems, WTP, ETP, and packaging line automation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD Electrical.
