Job Title: Head of Sales (Retail & Corporate)

What we are looking for 

• We are seeking a Head of Retail and Corporate Sales who will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy within the retail and agency channels.
• This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving growth in the retail sector and managing agency partnerships.
• The ideal candidate will oversee the development and performance of sales teams, ensuring the successful execution of sales targets, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for;

• Develop and implement the retail and corporate sales strategy, aligning it with the company's broader business goals and market dynamics.
• Lead, manage, and mentor the retail and corporate sales teams, providing direction, training, and performance management to achieve sales objectives.
• Drive the expansion of the retail sales network by identifying and opening new retail channels and agency partnerships.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop promotional campaigns, product offerings, and customer engagement strategies that enhance sales in the retail and agency sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and agencies, ensuring alignment and execution of sales goals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt strategies and ensure that Casava remains competitive in the retail space.
• Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, using data to refine sales tactics and ensure the achievement of targets across retail and agency channels.
• Oversee contract negotiations and deal closures with retail partners and agencies, ensuring that all agreements support the company’s sales goals and revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining high standards of ethical sales practices.
• Develop and manage the retail and agency sales budget, optimizing resources and ensuring a high return on investment.
• Foster a customer-centric sales culture, ensuring that customer experience and service excellence are priorities in all sales efforts.

The right candidate might have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certifications is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in retail or agency sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and managing sales teams in retail and agency channels.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in contract negotiation, budget management, and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Familiarity with the insurance or financial services sector is a plus.
