Deputy Director - Directorate of Work, Maintenance and Physical Planning at Osun State University (UNIOSUN)

Osun State University (UMOSUN) was established by the Osun State University (Establishment) Law of 2006. The University commenced academic activities simultaneously on the permanent sites of its six campuses located in the six geo-political zones of Osun State on 22nd September. 2007. The campuses are located in Osogbo, (Main Campus), Ejigbo, Ifetedo, Ikire, Ipetu-Ijesa and Okuku.

Osun State University has the vision of becoming the biggest and the best University in Nigeria in the nearest future and has the goal of developing into a world class institution of learning, given its multi-campus nature and its rapid expansion in the short period of its existence.

Requirements

• The applicant must possess acgood first degree (Bachelor's) (not lower than Second-Class Lower Division) in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University, plus at least twelve (12) years post-qualification experience, ten (10) of which must be in similar jobs;
• Candidates should be registered with both COREN (Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and NSE (Nigerian Society of Engineers).
• Candidates should have excellent communication skills and must have high computer proficiency;
• Candidates must have served as Chief Engineer (Civil/Electrical/ Mechanical) for at least four (4) years in a University System;
• Candidates must be able to initiate, execute, and/or coordinate all minor works, maintenance activities, and capital projects in the University;
• Candidates must demonstrate evidence of accomplishment as a Chief Engineer in a University system with clear evidence of output both in IGR projects and externally funded projects.
