We are looking to employ a Client Acquisition Officer on a contract basis to drive the company's growth, and is primarily responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing new clients.
The role focuses on initiating the sales process from lead generation through conversion, ensuring a robust pipeline that contributes to increased sales, market share, and long-term company profitability.
The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with a proven ability to close first-time purchases.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Culture Building Lead Generation and Market Research:
Identify Opportunities: Proactively research and identify potential new clients and strategic business opportunities within target markets and industries.
Develop Leads: Execute a high-volume of targeted outreach (cold calling, email, networking, social media) to generate and qualify new leads.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and analyze competitor activities to inform and refine acquisition strategies.
Client Engagement and Relationship Building:
Initial Contact: Initiate and establish contact with key decision-makers and stakeholders within prospective organizations.
Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough consultations to understand the prospect's needs, challenges, and pain points.
Value Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and produce/service demonstrations that clearly articulate the company's value proposition and tailored solutions.
Relationship Nurturing: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with prospects throughout the entire sales lifecycle
Sales Execution and Targets:
Deal Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, finalize terms, and secure signed agreements for new client accounts.
Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and client acquisition targets.
Seamless Onboarding: Collaborate closely with the Account Management and Operations teams to ensure a smooth, positive onboarding experience for new clients.
Strategy and Reporting:
Strategic Input: Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams based on client interactions and market needs to optimize offerings and acquisition campaigns.
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales progress within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Performance Tracking: Track and report on key metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, sales velocity, and revenue generated from new accounts.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2 - 4 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or a client/customer acquisition focused role.
Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Proven leadership, team-building, and people management expertise.
Benefits
Salary: N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly (Net).
Commission: 10% of annual subscription
