Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager
Locations: Abuja and Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the general operation of Warehouse
Responsible for Commodities Management; Receipts, Issues, Storage and timely schedule of dispatch activities in line with Client requirements for long haul and last mile deliveries.
Responsible for Weekly, Monthly and Bi-Monthly Generation of Routine Stock Reports and any stock information that may be requested by the Clients.
Responsible for preparation of billing details for invoicing the Client for warehousing services based on agreed rates.
Responsible for the overall Inventory Management by working and coordinating with the Inventory and Warehouse teams. Ensures accurate entries of all transactions manually and electronically via Warehouse Inventory Management Software (WIMS).
Work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Assurance Officer, Facility Officer and Finance & Admin Officer to ensure smooth warehouse operations, management and sustainability.
If required, will participate in distribution committee meetings for finalization of distribution plans and schedules
Support inventory management by working with the Inventory team and the IT/MIS Manager in monitoring of M-supply entries and functionality and generate alerts to management for decisions.
Work in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Specialist in writing, reviewing and strict adherence of Standard Operating Procedures in the Warehouse
Oversee the management of all Utilities, Equipment, Housekeeping and cost savings for the warehouse operations.
Provide effective leadership and supervision to warehouse operations staff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to established standards and procedures.
Oversee the management of the security personnel on site to carry out their assignment in line with the service level agreements with the provider.
Carry out any other responsibility as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Manages the day-to-day communication on operational issues for warehousing and distribution with the respective Client representative.
Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting the effective management, storage, and dispatch of commodities, ensuring timely and accountable delivery in line with industry and organizational standards.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Bachelor of Pharmacy (preferred) or Bachelor's degree.
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or public health would be an added advantage
CWMP, CITLS or relevant Certifications.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in warehouse operations management, preferably pharmaceutical warehouse. Experience managing donor funded commodities.
Knowledge of health supply chain management and logistics, specifically warehousing & distribution.
Experience managing muti functional teams in a pharma grade warehouse setting Knowledge of implementing Quality Management Systems, Environment, Health & Safety and on the job Capacity building for staff.
Intermediate/Advanced computer skills to include the use of MS Office packages and warehouse inventory management software (knowledge of Supply will be added advantage).
