Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in the Security and Investigations industry.
• The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• In this position, the Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, including the preparation of financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting audits, and facilitating the preparation of budgets.
• As part of our finance department, the Accountant will work closely with management to provide accurate financial reports and insights that will drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
• The role requires a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.
• Additionally, the Accountant will actively contribute to optimizing financial processes and ensuring that our organization adheres to best practices in accounting within the security industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
• Conduct audits of financial documents to ensure compliance.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts periodically.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Collaborate with management to enhance financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

• Female preferably
• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as an Accountant, preferably in the security and investigations industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• NYSC certificate of completion or exemption.
