Customer Interaction: Greet customers professionally, explain delivery details, collect signatures or payments if required, and address basic inquiries. Provide white-glove service by placing appliances in designated spots (e.g., kitchen counters) and offering setup tips.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the company van, report any mechanical issues, and maintain cleanliness. Fuel up as required and log mileage accurately.
Safety and Compliance: Secure loads to prevent shifting during transit, wear protective gear, and follow health/safety protocols (e.g., handling heavy items to avoid injury). Comply with Nigerian road regulations and company policies on returns or damages.
Documentation: Prepare delivery reports, update inventory logs via mobile app, and note any issues (e.g., damaged goods or customer feedback) for warehouse reconciliation. Handle returns within our 3-day policy if needed.
Team Collaboration: Assist warehouse staff during loading peaks and communicate with dispatch for real-time updates on traffic or delays.
