Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Level 2

About the Role

• We are seeking a proactive and skilled Electrical Engineer (Level 2) to join our dynamic engineering team.
• The successful candidate will assist in designing electrical installations, prepare workshop and as-built drawings, and provide on-site technical support.
• This position offers an excellent opportunity for a developing engineer with foundational experience to grow within a professional and safety-conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing electrical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Prepare workshop drawings for ongoing projects.
• Prepare as-built drawings for completed projects.
• Develop distribution board schedules and perform load calculations.
• Carry out preliminary quantification of required materials.
• Assist in the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals for completed projects.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support as required.
• Ensure all electrical works meet approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the project engineer or supervisor.

Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) Responsibilities:

• Follow all company health and safety procedures and policies.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety signage.
• Report hazards, defects, incidents, and near misses immediately.
• Participate in safety briefings and emergency drills.
• Promote environmental awareness, waste reduction, and energy efficiency on site.

Requirements

• Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in electrical design or construction projects.
  • Experience with workshop drawing preparation and site coordination is an advantage.

  • Ability to interpret and develop electrical drawings accurately.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge & Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software.
  • Understanding of basic electrical design principles and systems.
