The Head of Events & Partnerships is responsible for developing, leading and executing Pulse’s overall event strategy across all platforms, including Pulse-owned events, branded experiences and client activations.
This role ensures every event strengthens Pulse’s brand identity, drives audience engagement, delivers measurable business results and supports revenue growth.
Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, Admin, Content, Finance and Production.
The Head of Events will ensure the seamless planning and execution of high-quality events that meet organizational standards and client expectations.
The ideal candidate is a visionary event strategist and hands-on leader with proven expertise across event design, sponsorship development, audience engagement, budgeting, logistics and post-event evaluation.
The candidate must demonstrate exceptional project management, vendor coordination and partnership-building skills while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy aligned with Pulse’s business objectives.
Identify new event opportunities and innovative concepts that strengthen Pulse’s brand positioning and drive audience engagement.
Collaborate with senior management to define event targets, budgets and performance metrics.
Event Development & Execution:
Lead the planning, design, and flawless execution of all Pulse proprietary and client-sponsored events, including conferences, activations, festivals, and award shows.
Ensure every event aligns with Pulse’s brand standards, creativity and excellence.
Sponsorships & Strategic Partnerships:
Identify, approach, and secure sponsors and partners that align with event goals and brand objectives.
Develop compelling sponsorship proposals and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate brands, media partners and industry leaders.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance partner visibility and ensure all sponsorship deliverables are met.
Revenue Generation & Collaboration:
Drive event-related revenue growth through sponsorships, ticketing and brand collaborations.
Work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams to optimize event profitability and brand impact.
Team Leadership & Performance:
Lead, mentor and develop the events and partnership team, fostering collaboration across departments.
Prepare detailed post-event reports and insights to measure performance and inform future improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in event management, experiential marketing or brand activation preferably within a media, lifestyle or entertainment company.
Proven track record of delivering high-impact events from concept to completion.
Strong network of industry contacts, vendors and partners.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Creativity, attention to detail and passion for storytelling through experiences.
