Job Title: System Administrator / Hybrid Cloud Engineer

Role Mission

• The aim is to implement, protect, and enhance the business hybrid IT infrastructure processes that links on-premises systems with cloud solutions for a secure, reliable and high-performing enterprise applications and services contributing to the Group’s success story through a  dependable, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure operations, while also promoting compliance standards across all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Server Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems (2019/2022/2025) and related services such as Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Virtualization: Deploy and manage virtual machines using Hyper-V, Nutanix, or Azure Virtual Machines as part of a hybrid infrastructure.
• Systems Monitoring and Management: Configure and use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, PRTG and Microsoft Sentinel to track performance, availability and security incidents. Analyze event and diagnostic logs to identify performance bottlenecks and potential failures. 
• Security and Compliance: Enforce enterprise security policies using GPO and Microsoft Defender for Cloud, configure Windows Defender. Regularly review and apply security baselines and recommendations from Microsoft and CIS benchmarks. Ensure adherence to ITIL and change management processes for all configuration and maintenance activities.
• Cloud and Hybrid Integration: Manage hybrid infrastructure environments integrated with Azure such as Microsoft Entra (using Azure AD Connect), Azure ARC, Azure Services (compute, networking, etc.)
• Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve OS-level, hardware, and application-related issues; provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support.
• Documentation:  Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of configurations, diagrams and system changes. Prepare and submit Change Requests following ITIL best practices.
• Automation and Scripting: Use PowerShell and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks, reporting, and deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Over 3 years of experience managing complex IT Infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Certification: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Experience supporting hybrid and cloud-integrated infrastructure (ADDS, DNS, DHCP, NPS) Microsoft Azure Service Categories (Compute, Databases, Security, Storage, Networking, Web & Mobile, etc.)
• Operating Systems: Windows Server 2025. 2022 and 2019.
• Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure
• Automation: PowerShell, Windows Admin Center, and Bash Scripting.
• Virtualization: Nutanix AHV and Hyper-V.
• Management & Monitoring: ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus, AD 360 suite, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Sentinel
• Backup & DR: Veeam, Azure Backup, Nutanix Data Protection
• Security & Compliance: Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, SOC2 & ISO27001.
