The Role
We are now looking for a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead our next phase of growth in Nigeria.
This is a high-impact, externally facing role.
You will be the commercial face of the company, driving revenue growth, shaping our “hero” products and building lasting partnerships with the most influential local and global brands.

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities: Revenue Growth, Product Development, Strategic Partnerships, Team Leadership
Lead & inspire: Head our sales and commercial teams, building a high-performance, client-first culture.
Own the growth agenda: Design and execute a revenue strategy that drives both short-term results and long-term scale.
Build our hero products: Identify, refine, and scale the offerings that set The Company,
The Company Sports business, Business Insider Africa, and The Company Marketing team apart from branded content and influencer activations to live experiences, PR campaigns and integrated marketing services.
Win trust, keep trust: Strengthen client partnerships by working closely with the operations team to deliver excellent service and measurable results.
Be the face of The Company: Represent us with charisma and credibility in boardrooms with C-suites, agencies and global HQs.
Work as one team: Partner with finance on clear reporting and commercial targets, ensuring alignment on profitability and growth.
Think beyond Nigeria: Collaborate with commercial heads across other African markets to shape a Pan-African sales strategy and unlock cross-market opportunities.
Build for impact: Implement scalable processes and products that enhance efficiency, profitability and client value.
What You Bring
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 7+ years’ senior commercial leadership experience in media, advertising, tech, or FMCG.
Deep knowledge of and networks within the Nigerian market.
