Purpose of the Internship
The purpose of this internship program is to promote employability through providing an opportunity for work experience to recent graduates from and university students in career transition.
It is also an avenue to help develop leadership competencies and promote the participation of women in decision-making roles in key development spaces.
Description of Tasks
The intern will initiate /assist/report/monitor and develop the following initiatives, and the planning of regular meetings, as well as facilitate knowledge exchange.
S/he will be able to reconcile theoretical experiences with practicable processes with keen specifics to the following: The intern will be expected to:
Assist in the operations of project-related activities
Support the development and management of up-to-date program records, including data collection, tracking, and reporting.
Communicate findings and facilitate knowledge dissemination and exchange among various interested parties.
Produce written reports and white papers to share knowledge and results from the analysis performed.
Provide logistical and administrative support, including scheduling meetings, organizing events, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Support engagement efforts with donors, partners, and beneficiaries to strengthen collaboration and visibility.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Program Manager and Project Managers (DMP and GTS projects) etc.

Requirements
Standard Minimum Qualifications:
First Degree or equivalent in the relevant field of studies.
Additional consideration will be given to any professional experience relevant to the function you’re applying for.
At least 1 to 2 years maximum experience in the relevant department field is a plus.
NYSC Certificate of completion/Exemption/Exclusion is compulsory
Only qualified female candidates are eligible to apply.
Must be legally authorized to work in Nigeria.
Skills to be developed:
The intern will develop a strong knowledge of public health, project and program management, digital health, vaccine-preventable diseases etc.
The intern will gain exposure to real-world project and program management processes and concerns
The intern will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies
The intern will develop better report-writing skills in the communication context to both technical and non-technical audiences.
