Job Title: Head of Sales
Location: Mainland, Lagos
Mission / Purpose of the Job
This role is responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, managing and mentoring the sales team, and establishing strong client relationships.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales leader with proven experience in technology or cybersecurity sales, capable of delivering consistent business results while positioning Company’s as a trusted market leader.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed targets, providing guidance, coaching, and performance reviews.
Optimize sales processes, CRM usage, and forecasting accuracy to maximize efficiency and conversion rates.
Generate leads and new business opportunities through networking, strategic partnerships, and market research.
Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, key decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and meetings tailored to client needs.
Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and promotional offers with prospective clients.
Work closely with the marketing team to position company’s products effectively and enhance brand presence.
Coordinate sales efforts with marketing campaigns to increase customer engagement and pipeline growth.
Provide regular sales reports, market trends, customer insights, and competitor analysis to management.
Monitor industry and cybersecurity market developments to identify new opportunities and ensure competitiveness.
Education / Business Degree: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA Degree preferred).
Work Experience:
10 - 12 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role within technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B/enterprise environment.
