About the Role

• We are looking for a Senior Laser Scanning Specialist with extensive experience in 3D scanning operations, point cloud registration, and data validation for oil & gas environments.
• You will lead field acquisition, ensure precise data processing, and support the creation of accurate as-built documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 3D laser scanning operations on-site, ensuring full coverage and precision capture.
• Perform data registration, alignment, and QC using industry-standard software.
• Integrate scan data with survey control networks and validate geospatial accuracy.
• Deliver registered and georeferenced point clouds ready for modeling and digital twin applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering technical excellence and team collaboration.
• Maintain professional conduct and positive engagement in client-facing environments.

Qualifications & Experience

• No Degree requirement — competence, professionalism, and experience are what matter most.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in industrial 3D laser scanning and data registration.
• Expertise with FARO laser scanners and FARO Scene software (experience with Leica or Trimble is an added advantage).
• Proven ability to manage both field and office phases of laser scanning independently.
• Deep familiarity with survey control, coordinate alignment, and data integrity.
• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
