We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Marketing & Sales Manager
Location: Lagos

Core Purpose of the Role
To conceptualize, plan and execute integrated marketing and sales strategies that grow brand awareness, attract and convert new club members, sell event packages, and consistently increase guest traffic and revenue at Gaby Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Membership Growth:
Drive member acquisition campaigns and lead generation.
Build and manage a high-quality membership leads database.
Convert leads into GAIA AFRICA members through targeted campaigns, presentations, and relationship management.
Collaborate with membership team to define target personas and build lead nurturing strategies.
Events Sales & Promotions:
Design and execute innovative and profitable events for both GAIA AFRICA and Gaby Lagos that cater to member interests and public engagement.
Develop and sell corporate and private event packages at GAIA House and Gaby Lagos.
Prepare quarterly and annual event calendars and sales projections.
Develop and execute sales strategies to fill off-peak days and low-traffic periods with events.
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns:
Create and manage integrated marketing plans to build brand awareness for GAIA AFRICA and Gaby Lagos.
Coordinate marketing campaigns across digital (social media, email, website, SEO), traditional (print, PR), and experiential channels.
Create marketing content and storytelling campaigns that resonate with the brands’ luxury positioning and female-centric ethos.
Drive visibility for the club and restaurant through media, influencer collaborations, and strategic partnerships.
Digital Marketing & Social Media:
Oversee the creation and distribution of content across Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletters, blogs, and other platforms.
Track and optimize performance metrics including engagement, conversion rates, and footfall.
Ensure consistent, premium brand messaging across all platforms and assets.
Brand Experience & External Relations:
Build strategic alliances and manage partnerships that align with brand values and attract high-value clientele.
Liaise with vendors, media, influencers, and brand collaborators for joint campaigns and co-branded events.
Oversee press, media coverage, and reputation management.
Performance Metrics
Membership acquisition
Event revenue and bookings for GAIA and Gaby Lagos
Gaby Lagos footfall and average spend per guest
Campaign ROI (social engagement, conversion rates, leads closed)
Website traffic and newsletter performance
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field with 7–10 years of experience in a sales, marketing or PR role, ideally in lifestyle, events, or hospitality.
Demonstrated experience with customer acquisition strategies and event planning.
Excellent knowledge of digital marketing and customer journey mapping.
Experience working with CRM platforms and digital analytics tools is an advantage.
Required Skills and Attributes:
Proven success in sales and marketing in hospitality, lifestyle, events, or luxury services.
Excellent communication and persuasive presentation skills.
Creative storyteller with strong content marketing capabilities.
Strong project management skills; able to lead campaigns end-to-end.
Digital fluency — proficient with Canva, Mailchimp, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram, website CMS.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
A collaborative team player and self-starter with commercial instincts.
Deep understanding of Lagos’ luxury consumer landscape is a plus.
